I climbed out of the water taxi wearing my favourite summer dress. I was supposed to meet my friend in this part of town. I opened the taxi door, and to my surprise, my crush, (who's in my Bio class,) came up and nearly walked into me! I was nervous to talk to him, but he was just my type, black hair, strong, and smart. I was about to say sorry, but he seemed more interested in tuning his guitar. I finally saw my friend and rushed over to her awkwardly. Then, as I was looking at my crush out of the corner of my eye, he started to sing while playing his guitar. Some people dropped money in his fedora while they were walking past. He was amazing! Singing to the tune of his own song while keeping the tune straight with his guitar, it was like listening to angels! Then I saw a massive guy with a serpent tattoo push past me, but as I looked at his arm I saw the serpent flick it's tail, and realised he was was holding a knife! He screamed "This is for my sister, Gloria!" and ran at my crush. The crowd fanned out away from the man and I heard my crush, Aden, say, "Please, Kayla, take me away from them." He was oozing a clear liquid were he had been stabbed in the stomach, and I thought, "Is that his blood?" I hauled him away from the crowd into an empty ditch and then the cop's arrived.
